Model and video I made for an advanced 3D modeling class at The University of Southern California.
The model was made over a 4 week period, 30 hours of work total, during which I did the original design for the model, concept artwork, mesh modeling, particle effects, UV unwrapping and mapping, texturing, and rigging.
The environment was made over a 2 day period, 6 hours of work total, during which I did the modeling, UV unwrapping, and texturing.
Video was made over a 1 week period, 5 hours of work total, during which I did the scene set up, lighting, animations, environmental particle effects, and camera work.
The model was heavily influenced by Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k Ork Deff Dread designs, but all designs for the model were done from scratch by me.
